Should I stay or should I go?
Leading up to a trade show, conference or convention like AES this month, questions come in from folks considering making the trip for the first time. Weighing the price of travel, tickets, lodging and missed gigs back home can be a serious challenge. You want to take the classes and see the seminars, but doing them online probably fits much easier into your schedule and budget.
Maybe you’ve been putting it off for years, wondering if it’s really worth your time and money. It can be difficult to know what you should expect to get out of it. And what should you be doing to make the most out of the time when you’re there?
In this video I try to give you a look at what it’s all about and hopefully inspire a few people to make it out to your first trade shows in the near future. It’s a ton of fun, you’ll make new friends and I can absolutely guarantee you will learn something each day.
Be sure to reach out if you’re headed to an upcoming show. If I’ll be there, I’d love to meet up and talk shop. Let me know in the comments what your favorite shows are & I’ll try to get to them in the future.
