It has now been four years since the first iPod upgrade video on this channel. Which was followed shortly after by part two if you’re new to the channel. At the time it was just a random project that wasn’t expected to get much attention. However, since then it has been one of the most popular topics on the channel.
It has been really cool also to see channels like DankPods come about in that time and really kick the interest in iPod repair in to high gear. Now that the iPod and iPod Video have been officially discontinued, the desire to repair and keep the ones you already have, might be a little bit more interesting.
The replacement battery that we originally put into this unit unfortunately quit working recently. This seemed like a great time to pop the iPod open again and talk about the upgrades. There have been tons of great questions on both of the previous iPod videos, and we address some of the common ones in this video as well. – Thanks for watching
