Easy How-to
This is a super simple project that needed doing this week, so here’s a video. If you’ve got questions about anything, let me know in the comments.
For special situations and some custom rigs, you might want to hide the cables. It can help clean up the look for a video shoot or on stage in a theater. Alternatively, you might want to avoid cables snagging or being damaged on gear sets that move around often during or between shows.
For a few dollars and a little bit of time, you can add discreet custom wiring to almost any stand or set piece. You’ll need a few basic tools, but nothing fancy is required at all and anyone can learn to drill a hole and solder a wire with some practice. I’d love to see what you come up with or what custom wiring you’ve done in the past for work or fun. Thanks for checking this one out.
