Breaking news from @AppleInsider
A developing story from Apple Insider this morning as I patiently wait for my MacBook Pro to finish downloading the macOS Big Sur update. It is always a pretty even split among viewers when I’ve asked in the past, between those who never update early in a release, and those who like to test things out and poke around a bit more.
Native Instruments, maker of audio devices such as four-channel DJ controllers, has warned users that #macOS #BigSur can potentially physically damage equipment. @ni_news https://t.co/CZmPtvaWQt pic.twitter.com/rzzvHN74tw

This update it a bit different though, as some of your audio hardware may be on the line. It would be great in situations like these if the manufacturer could be a bit more specific with how the damage is potentially happening, but those details will likely follow in the coming days. For now, if you own any Native Instruments DJ control hardware specifically, maybe don’t take the chance of updating until we know more. More details in the linked article, but I’ll be posting more once my update finishes here and I have a chance to check it all out.
