So that’s what you meant when you said they were flexible
In this video Rick Fines of Quantum5X Systems joins us for a quick rundown of their unique wireless gear. Based in Ontario, Q5X builds wireless systems for extremely demanding situations, but with a different approach. You can find them operating at NHL games, in the NBA, in reality television, on stage and in the movies. Their goal is keeping the athlete’s & performer’s focus on their job and off of the technology. While they offer some amazing receiver technology, many of their transmitters work beautifully with LectroSonics or Shure Receivers you may already own.
Check out what Rick has to show us in this video & leave any questions you might have in the comments. I will absolutely be looking at more of the Q5X lineup here in the future. They have so many different products I want to try out first hand, from waterproof packs to custom tap dance shoe microphone modules for Radio City Music Hall!

Huge thanks as always to Baz the Roadie for supporting these videos. If you’re in the Pacific North West & would like to attend one of his Touring Pro-Audio workshops this fall, reach out and let him know @ baztheroadie.com
The audio for this video was captured on the show floor at InfoComm 2019, as well as in my hotel rooms on the road using the LectroSonics PDR Personal Digital Recorder and Lavalier mic system. I can’t thank them enough for their support in making these videos and keeping my Audio Kit so incredibly small when I travel.
