2021 DcSoundOp Channel Intro/Trailer Update

What’s happening?

A new DcSoundOp channel trailer is finally here! The new intro will hopefully give everyone watching a better idea of what to expect from the channel right now. It has been a hell of a year trying to keep the videos coming out. It doesn’t seem so easy to make videos that are relevant to everyone watching recently. I hope it has stayed entertaining for you to watch all the same.

There has always been a wide variety of what we cover on the channel & that won’t change. Recently however, with the lack of events, you’ve been seeing a lot of gear videos, first looks and reviews. Even more, semi-pro and some consumer tech has worked it’s way in too. As much fun as big projects and how-to videos are to do, they take an incredible amount of resources to put together by comparison. Being more careful with limited resources has been a common theme this past year. We’ll keep on doing what we can as opportunities arise.

It has also been exactly a year now since the last episode of the DcSoundOp podcast was released. Shortly after that one came out, we all went into lock down in March. There was a flood of new podcasts and videos coming out at that time too, as more people in the industry got comfortable publishing online. It was a deliberate decision this past year to focus on what was working on the channel with videos. It felt right to leave the podcasts & interviews to folks who were clearly more passionate about that format.

There will be more DcSoundOp podcast episodes released as it makes sense to do so in the future. For now, you can find some of the best pro-audio podcasts out there, at the Podcasts page in here.
