What’s inside?
We open them up, so you don’t have to.
The PreSonus StudioLive Series 3 eco-system has a lot going on. We’re going over as much as we can in this series to show you how the whole system works together in real configurations. There are the traditional console style mixers with innovative recording integrations, rack mixers that are software controlled, ear mix stations for remote control, network switches & network cable to connect everything together and of course the NSB stage boxes to get audio in and out where you need it.
In this video, we pull the NSB (Networked Stage Box) 16.8 completely apart to see what it is made of. We talk about what you can expect for durability and what things I think could be improved in future versions. If you’re curious to see what’s going on under the hood, this one should be fun! Thanks to PreSonus for providing these demo units for us to take apart and show in this video, the crew there are always helpful and open to answering questions when they come up.

We’ll be looking at these boxes again in future videos with the other components, so be sure to leave any questions you’d like to see answered in the comments. If there are specific configurations you have questions about, I’ll do my best to get you an answer or point you in the right direction. The folks at PreSonus are very helpful, so please don’t hesitate to join their forums and take advantage of the support resources on their website, they are quite good.
