Record on-the-go:
Not just for musicians! A USB microphone can be the difference between you getting your message across clearly on a webcast or conference call presentation & leaving your potential clients, business partners and customers confused and frustrated. As someone who works in audio, I’ve not paid a lot of attention to USB microphones in the past few years since they’ve become popular. I have microphones & interfaces, so why would I need one?

When Beyerdynamic offered to send one over for a demo, I was doubtful that I would use it much, but curious enough to want to check it out.
In the last month though, I really have enjoyed having a USB mic on my desk. Being able to go between my computers, iPad & iPhone seamlessly using a simple adapter is very useful. Having an audio solution to take on the go with no additional power supplies or XLR cables to bring along has been a game changer.
If you’re doing content creation or any type of digital media, webcasts, Skype calls, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Youtube, Facebook Live or even podcasting, this is a very convenient way to get audio in and out. Latency free monitoring and a headphone amp built into your mic, all in one package & USB powered, is very cool indeed.
