Reference App:

In this edition of mobile Monday, we’re looking at the PA Bible App from Marked Software. Although this app has been around for a while now, it came as a recommendation from a viewer, and I have never tried it before. The PA Bible is a reference for professional live sound speakers, allowing you to view and compare specs side by side for a variety of industry standard cabinets.

The real usability of this app in my opinion is the side by side comparison mode offered on the iPad version only. On the iPhone, it’s just not as useful. It’s a difficult app to justify on a price to functionality basis. It’s a convenience, for a very small group of professional users, and the price reflects that. I can’t imagine it was a small amount of work to put it together, even if it is somewhat incomplete.
